Welcome to the website of the Leixlip & Confey Parish Cell System of Evangelization.
Here you will find a description of a most exciting pastoral initiative, which is changing lives and influencing parishes around the world.
People are finding a new relationship with Jesus Christ, in a community of people,where they know they belong, and a facility to speak words of faith with family members, and work and leisure colleagues.
At a time when many people in Ireland are uncertain as to what they believe, and when they do believe they are unsure of how they might explain it to others, cell groups offer a new beginning and a way forward.

filling the apostles with your power and renewing them in your love Grant our cells an outpouring of that same Holy Spirit, enabling us: * to have an even deeper experience of your presence in our daily lives, * to go out boldly and share this new life with all in our community, * to dispel all our fears, so that in serving you, we will invite rich and poor alike, to "Come and See" at your banquet, * to share all we have, joys and sorrows alike, thus binding us together like a real community, * to change so much, that others, by our example, will want to belong. The Organisation unites and coordinates the Parish Evangelizing Cells, small groups of the lay faithful united through family, work or friendship ties, who meet together in order to nurture their faith and evangelise their surroundings.
The idea inspiring the entire System is that of offering opportunities for personal and community conversion in the parishes so that they may become vibrant faith communities.
